You can own a piece of History with this Beautiful one of a kind Reclaimed Redwood Coffee Table! I purchased this years ago from a woodworker who lived along the 101 in Northern California. He would head into where a housing development was being built and process the Old Growth Stumps that were logged during the 1900's. This is Truly Magical Wood! It appers as though there is gold and silver fleck throughout the piece. With the raised grain it asks to be felt. There are over 200 growth rings. The legs and lower shelf are made from Reclaimed Vertical Grain Fir from when Franklin Highschool in Seattle was remodeled in the early 2000's. With proper care this piece could last indefinetly. The top was sanded and buffed up to 2000 grit to let the colors and figuring show, then finished with Vermont Natural Coatings Hemp Oil Finish. The underside was finished with a Shou Sugi Ban technique follwed by Vermont Natural Coatings Hemp Oil Finish.
